Artist Terry Moore is a native of Wilmington, North Carolina and holds B.A. Degrees in History and Philosophy and Religion from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where he was graduated in 1974 ( Who's Who Among Students In American Universities and Colleges). He can trace his love of art to early childhood and the dedicated encouragement of his family and teachers. Besides the forty nine works now in print, Terry also enjoys doing a limited number of originals and commissions each year. Click on the beautiful "Morning on the Cape Fear" to visit Terry's personal gallery.

Terry works primarily in oils, preferring glazing and scumbling techniques to achieve the warmth and texture his art is noted for. He strongly believes that his background in history and philosophy helps give him a multi-level approach to his work and insight into the subjects he paints. His art has found its way into homes and prominent corporate offices throughout America as well as Europe (including the U.S. Embassy in Madrid), along with numerous monthly publications and television and movie sets ( i.e.; the production set of PBS/ "North Carolina Now" and "The William Friday Show" and ABC/ "Matlock" series).
